CONCRETE CARE
Concrete is a porous material with natural variation in colour, texture and surface appearance. Over time, exposure to sunlight, rain, temperature changes and general use will contribute to the natural ageing of the surface.
Fine hairline cracks, crazing, small divots and tonal variation can occur as part of this process. These characteristics are inherent to concrete and are not considered defects or an indication of reduced performance.
TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF YOUR CONCRETE FURNITURE
We recommend sealing your concrete furniture when first received to help reduce staining and surface crazing. Use Guardsman Stone Seal & Protect Spray or another suitable concrete or stone sealer. Polyurethane-based sealers are not recommended.
Depending on use and environmental exposure, indoor and outdoor concrete furniture should generally be resealed at least every six months.
Clean regularly using a soft cloth or sponge with mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and solvent-based cleaning products.
Do not use a high-pressure water blaster. For outdoor cleaning, a standard garden hose nozzle is generally sufficient to remove surface dirt, mould or mildew.
Clean food and beverage spills as soon as possible to minimise the risk of staining.
For general maintenance, Guardsman Stone Daily Cleaner may also be used.
DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY
Supplied in two cartons. Delivery is to driveway or garage only unless arranged otherwise. Due to the weight of the concrete top, 2–3 people are required to safely lift it into position once the base has been assembled.
Do not drag the table into position, as this may cause damage. Always lift with sufficient people, particularly when moving through doorways or confined spaces.
