Four chairs, one material – four completely different ways to sit. Over the past few weeks our Take a Seat series has put Hendrix, Tanner, Morrison and Alta in the spotlight. Consider this the extended edit.
They're part of a collection of leathers inspired by makers, musicians and craftsmanship, where every chair tells a different story. From low-slung 1960s lounging to Scandinavian simplicity, sculptural timber frames and generously padded seating – the whole point of the series is simple: to help you find your seat.
01 · Hendrix The low-slung one

Named for the electric ease of the 1960s, Hendrix has the low, sculpted silhouette of a recording-studio lounge — relaxed, confident and effortlessly cool. Upholstered in Franco leather in black or green, its smooth swivel base makes it as comfortable as it is good-looking: plenty of personality, without ever needing to shout about it.

Best for — Living rooms, reading corners and anywhere with a little attitude
If you're after a modern classic with a little soul, Hendrix could be your seat.
02 · Tanner The crafted one

If Hendrix is the rockstar, Tanner brings a maker's confidence. The curved solid ash frame is the story here — the arm flowing seamlessly into the leg in one continuous line, with visible finger joints and A-frame detailing underneath that reward a longer look. Supple Franco leather cushions and a gently angled back almost mould to your body. Available in black or brown, it strikes the balance between contemporary and classic.

Best for — Open-plan spaces and rooms where the furniture deserves to be seen
Comfortable, versatile and made to age beautifully — Tanner could be your seat.
"Choosing a chair isn't just about finding somewhere to sit. It's about finding the one that works with the way you live."

03 · Morrison The settle-in one

Morrison is all about character — the chair that belongs beside a record player, a stack of books and a drink at the end of the day. Named for Jim Morrison, its oversized pillow-style cushions sit low on a grounded ash frame in a light walnut finish, while the New Antique Sand leather brings warmth, depth and a naturally worn-in look that only gets better with age. Traditional and vintage in feel, without ever looking dated.
New Antique Sand leather · Light walnut ash frame
Best for — Relaxed living rooms, fireside corners and long Sunday afternoons
For vintage character and interiors that already feel like home, Morrison could be your seat.
04 · Alta The Scandinavian one

Ever looked at our Nord Collection dining chairs and wished for an armchair version? Here it is. Alta carries that same recognisable silhouette into a chair you can settle back into, with a visual lightness that never feels bulky — so it works in smaller spaces too. The black leather seat moulds to your body while sculpted arms and a scooped backrest encourage an easy, slowed-down sit. Carry the Nord look from the dining room into a reading corner, office or bedroom for real continuity across your spaces.
Black leather · Solid oak — black or walnut · Optional footstool
Best for — Contemporary interiors, smaller spaces and leather without the visual weight
