Project Overview

Set in the peaceful surroundings of East Taieri near Mosgiel, The Grange is one of New Zealand’s leading lifecare villages – designed to offer residents a sense of comfort, dignity, and community.

Interior design studio DSGNR, led by Creative Director Stephanie Allen-Jeffrey, was engaged to create a refined yet practical environment that enhances daily living and supports resident wellbeing.

Design Approach

The project includes a wide range of spaces – lounges, dining rooms, a café, cinema, gym, spa, salon and library – each designed with care and consistency. DSGNR’s vision combined calming tones, layered textures, and quality materials to create an atmosphere of quiet luxury.

Furniture Selection

Hawthorne furniture was chosen for its timeless aesthetic, solid craftsmanship and ability to soften spaces without compromising durability. Pieces were used throughout communal areas to support both comfort and functionality.
